Ms. Shaina Thorpe became Florida Bar Board Certified in the area of Labor and Employment Law in 2014, joining about 169 other attorneys in the State of Florida who can be called experts in the field. Since then, Ms. Thorpe was appointed to serve on the Florida Bar’s Board Certification Committee for Labor and Employment Law, where she just completing serving out her two-term limit. Before joining ThorpeLaw, P.A., Ms. Thorpe worked for Allen Norton & Blue, P.A. for almost nine years. During her time as an attorney there, Ms. Thorpe represented both private and public sector employers in various labor and employment matters. Ms. Thorpe counseled employers on the law, investigated allegations of workplace harassment and discrimination, litigated cases through trial and appeal, and spoke to large groups on employment topics.
