As an attorney for almost 30 years, and having practiced family law for the past approximately 19 years, I have come to view litigation as an inefficient method for resolving legal disputes, albeit sometimes a necessary one.

I became a Board Certified Specialist in Marital and Family Law in June 2017 and a Florida Supreme Court Certified Family Law Mediator in December 2023. I am trained in the collaborative law process, which uses goal-oriented and interest-based principles to resolve family law matters without litigation.

Early in my legal career, I practiced business law, including both business litigation and contract law.

I attended the National Law Center at the George Washington University after having attended Brown University. In college, I studied International Relations, which included learning about various negotiation strategies.
